Put Your Money Where My Mouth Is!

I need to ask you for something I’m not particularly good at asking for:

Money.

There. I said it. Nobody was injured.

For the past few months, I’ve personally funded the Truth Party—the website, the videos, the signs, the events, the travel, and all the other expenses that come with trying to turn an idea into an actual movement.

I was willing to do that because I believed the idea was worth testing.

Then something unexpected happened.

More than 500,000 people watched.

That got my attention. But views alone aren’t enough. So I started getting out on the street and talking with people—real people, face to face. I set a goal of interviewing 100 complete strangers and asking each of them the same four questions.

What I heard convinced me that this is worth continuing.

People are frustrated. They’re worried. They feel ignored, and many of them no longer trust the political system to solve the problems they’re facing.

But underneath all that frustration, there’s also a remarkable amount we still agree on.

People want honesty. They want accountability. They want leaders who remember that government is supposed to serve the public—not the other way around.

They want a voice.

That’s what the Truth Party is trying to create: a place where ordinary citizens can speak plainly, listen to one another, and work toward practical solutions without being forced into the usual political boxes.

So I’m going to keep going.

But I’d rather not personally finance the overthrow of political apathy for the rest of my natural life.

That’s where you come in.

I’m not asking anybody to write a giant check. In fact, I don’t want giant checks. This shouldn’t depend on a handful of wealthy donors. That would defeat the whole point.

If you believe this effort is worth continuing, give what you can.

Give $5. Give $10. Give $25.

Not because you agree with every word I say. You probably shouldn’t. A healthy movement needs people who ask questions, challenge assumptions, and keep everyone honest.

Give because you believe ordinary citizens ought to have a louder voice in this country.

I’ve put my money where my mouth is. I’ve spent the last few months building this, testing it, and taking it directly to the people.

Now I’m asking you to help keep it moving.

And if you want to put a little money where my mouth is, I promise to keep using that mouth responsibly.

Or at least more responsibly than most politicians use theirs.
