You know, it’s funny what happens when you stop talking about an idea and actually start building it.
The very first Truth Party rally is coming up on August 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at Pig Pounder Brewery, and I can honestly say… I’m excited.
We’ve designed the posters.
We’ve put signs up around town.
We’ve been talking to people one by one.
And almost everyone says the same thing: “I’m interested. I’ll be there.”
Now, I know life happens. Not everyone who says they’re coming will make it. But that’s okay. Every movement starts somewhere.
This isn’t about filling an arena. It’s about finding the people who believe we can do better.
If ten people show up, we’ll have a conversation.
If fifty show up, we’ll build momentum.
If a hundred show up, we’ll make some noise.
The important thing is that we’re showing up.
For months I’ve been talking about turning spectators into citizens. Now it’s time to find out who wants to take that first step.
Nobody knows what the first day of a movement is going to look like until it happens.
But I know this: if we never start, nothing changes.
So I’m hopeful.
I’m excited.
And on August 23rd, we’ll open the doors, shake some hands, answer some questions, and see where this journey takes us.
Who knows?
Years from now, we may look back and say, “That was the day it all began.”
